It's time for rich autumn fall colors; the trees and grass in my area are still very very green with spots of the rich orange and yellow colors that you normally see this time of year... I spotted these beautiful leaves and wanted to share them with you, aren't they beautiful? Makes me want to grab a book, a throw some socks and peppermint tea and curl up on the sofa. I'm not going to but it sure makes me you want. Hope you enjoy being leafed....

I'm super excited to have the opportunity to capture with a macro lens these days and I have no intention of capturing flowers and bugs...I say that now but if the opportunity arises I'm sure I'll be all over it. I really like capturing things, like this little guy...

I think it's time to revamp this blog and do a little more than doodling with it. I don't think I'll ever stop doodling with my camera's because I like being able to capture daily life as it's happening without having to have every little thing about the image be perfect...
But since this resource is here, up and running I need to utilize it to its fullest potential and you know how passionate I am about photography right!

I'm doing a self portrait project with a fellow photographer on Flickr and I had lots of ideas and concepts running around in my head...no shortage of vision but a definate shortage of executing the vision. I actually submitted another image for my self-portrait today but this one is growing on me. I wasn't trying to get everything just right...I just wanted to convey a mood. Did I succeed? Did I convey a mood?

Birdies are here!!!

I finally did the research since I know so little about birds. I think this is a House Sparrow, they build their nest low and in bushes etc and seven eggs have been there for a while... now there are little ones in the nest.

I really want to get some good pictures but it's a challenge because the bush which is to the right of my front door is very prickly and I've been stuck several times. Not to mention that wasp love building their nest, hives or whatever housing unit they live in on the front of our house...and one kept circling as I was trying to get this picture.

The picture is not that great but you get the point... birdies are here! Yeah! I assume all seven are in the nest and they kept popping their heads up and opening their mouths to be feed...mama birdie stood on top of my house and watched me. Finally I gave up getting a better picture so they could have their dinner.
