Ebby's Touch Photography! Random Stuff!
Hey, Welcome to ebbystouchphotography.blogspot.com, this is my musing done with mostly cellphone, pointNshoot camera, video cam or DSLR in hand. Some people use pencil and paper, me iDoodle with my camera lens. AND yes, I love my Canons.
You can also visit my photo sites at http://ebbystouch.wordpress.com/ and www.flickr.com/photos/ebbystouch.
I'd love to have my camera gear with me at all times, but it's not always possible ...so you'll find some of my Snaps done with my cell phone right here. I'm loving it! Just snaps of daily life-regular stuff, special moments and wacky things that you have to see to believe. Oh I might include video also. Don't walk through life with your eyes closed; open them and see life happening.

Count The Cost
Wow its almost 2010! The year ahead looks promising. I've got my goals all laid out and they are simple and founded on this one thing--obey God. But it cost to do that and I'm wondering if we've counted the cost of achieving our want-to's for 2010?

PeepsNPhones
What would we do without cell phones today? They're everywhere and do 'almost' everything...except make the money to pay the monthly cellphone bill that is.....
They are soooo pooped !
They are just worn out from all those deliveries....resting in the first place they could find. Wish I had a horn to scare em awake. Te-He

This is just ridiculous
This may look like a chicken drum but its a drumette from a chicken wing and we wonder why our colesterol is so high...fat and grease everywhere-disgusting! Steroids. But I guess if alcohol and cigs are legal forms of self destruction Steroids deserves its opportunity to kill us slowly also.
BIRD works for any occasion
Scouted and all they found was Churches Chicken.... and you have to park and feed the meter just to go in to get some bird. Can't believe I'm eating this...OMG!
Remnants
Sugar, Sugar. Sitting praying for my family. We never know the full course where life may take us but more important is preparation to meet Jesus face to face. Life has its way of introducing us to challenges that aren't so sugary. Hummnnn. Even so there is nothing that we can encounter that God can't walk us through.
Waiting Patiently
I don't need to tell you that waiting isn't easy. No matter how common they say a surgical procedure is when you are the one waiting time seems to stand still. This is my brother Everett and sister-n-law Tonya in ICU waiting room. My 38 year old brother is having a heart bypass.

Is your keyboard watchin you?
Don't drown in your keyboard, take some time away from the world wide web to share with family and friends during this CHRISTmas season.....to listen with your heart and grow closer. Your keyboard is watching you, set a good example.

Unstuck and in forward motion....
I had an absolute blast teaching part 2 of a series titled Unstuck and in forward motion last night at Shabach Sanctuary. The subtopic was Self Throned. Whew!
Here's a little from a poem I wrote:
Self Throned, who me?
It can't be!
I lift my hand God to praise thee
I love you Lord, each and every day
but I'm self throned
and he cannot have his way...
I want to do your will
to bring glory to your name
I know it was for me you descended and you came.....
I really want to Lord
you know my heart
being stuck where I am tears me apart...
The rest of this is intentionally missing...stay tuned:)

2010, Walking In My Healing
I had lots of swelling in both my ankles in 2009, I am expecting God to do something awesome regarding my health this year... He can do it!
My Friends: Greg & Melinda Lancaster
Looking forward to my next visit with my friends from Tennessee. We had a blast together in October this year! Thanks for Co-moderating www.calledwoman.com.
Rudolph needs to lay off the cookies...
Rudolph has obviously been eating Santas cookies because he has blown up over the weekend. Day 2. Time for a diet Rudolph.
But they keep coming.....
I've had this sign posted on my desk for years...its good to look at but no one pays any attention to it, they just keep appearing at my desk. Isn't that just like the enemy ? You have your cross on, your fish boldly displayed and bible in hand but he just keeps coming...through traffic!

Lies and more lies!
Okay, this card reminds me of the person who has been trained to say whats socially acceptable, politically correct and anything that pleases the hearer...a lie ladiesNgents is a lie even if your intentions are good.

My Hubby
This year my husband started using online bill pay. He was ole school but is enjoying "ease" of technology.
Fried Chicken CHRISTmas
Just jotted the CHRISTmas menu on an envelope as my home-from-college niece rattled it off to me. She wants fried chicken (no turkey or ham) etc and requested that I not make anything that will take us days to eat. te-he . I'm definately with that!
Non Traditional Christmas Menu
My niece is home for holiday break and wanted a non traditional menu for Christmas. Well, she mainly wanted to bypass the ham and turkey. I got over the traditional menu years ago and this year our menu is centered around fried chicken which is something we don't eat often. We're doing the soul-food thing.
I jotted the menu or part of the menu on this envelope because my niece started rattling off her menu wish-list before I had pen and paper ready. Yes, we are having dressing (not stuffing) and giblet gravy . I'm excited, haven't cooked in a long time. Yum!

Biting Plastic
Yes, that is a real bite mark on this artificial fruit. Someone saw it and grabbed it up thinking it was real...imagine their surprise. Poor fake apple is now disfigured.

Craving Sweetness
When I want something sweet I sometimes have a whipped yogurt. Whipped is the ONLY kind of yogurt I like. I've tried but just can't get my taste buds to cooperate with non-whipped yogurt. The buds are very resistant at times. Crazy isn't it?
I Could Use A Little Beach Right Now
It's been cold in Dallas. No ice or snow but the kind of cold that makes you break out the hats, scarves and gloves along with your coat. I could use some beach weather right now. Pretty huh?
Some Kind Of Growing Thingy
My co-workers got this water hungry thingy as a stocking stuffer..you put it in water and it grows. This is day 1. I'll try to keep up with its growth. Reminds me of those little sponge like things that you put in water and they grow...and reminds me of a Chia pet. I clicked this today. Why? Because nj clicks. See Ya
