Totally Underwhelmed

Neil van Niekerk's On Camera Flash

I just got my copy of this awesome book and as soon as I opened it I knew it was for me. From the beginning Neil explains that he won't bog the reader down in mathematical equations and I like that--a lot.
Happy reading to me, I have my tea and a healthy appetite for learning to sculpt light.

The lights at this time of year are beautiful and festive. They draw you in and make you pay attention. Just sharing a little holiday glisten with you. Have a great day!

Tree Time

Well, it's that time of year where people are going in the attic( or closet) and bringing out the trees that are to be decorated and garnished with glittery stuff. I haven't used a tree to celebrate the birth of Jesus in years.

I have been thinking about how special Christmas was for me as a child, presents were good but being a southern person it was the time with family that just made it so joyous and we weren't told that Santa brought us gifts.. We were told that we were celebrating the birth of our Savour.

I miss those times,they were very special to me, it's not the tree or the presents or all the commercial hoopla but the love and coming together to celebrate Jesus.
