Just snaps of daily life-regular stuff, special moments and wacky things that you have to see to believe. Oh I might include video also. Laughter Does Us Good!

I confess that I do silly things every now and then... I know this
picture is just plain ole silly BUT I can do that! I love the freedom
and liberty to be me and to not be captive to the opinions of other
people. Of course my husband and son think I've lost it but Shhhh
don't tell them that I haven't because they'll want me to stop taking
pics like these.
Gotta go now but want you to know I'm praying with you ....SEeyA

Homeless-LESS

Homelessness is everywhere, people are homeless due to varied
circumstances. As I type this there is a man rummaging through a
dumpster. He may be looking for food or something he can sell to get
a fix, God knows. He has gone to the same dumpster three times in the
last ten minutes. It would be easy to get out of my car and approach
him to see if I can help him somehow but would it be wisdom? I'm
alone, waiting for others to arrive at a particular location for a
teaching session. What's wisdom?

Luke 18:18-30

If you wish to comment, please comment on the actual blog at http://njclicks.blogspot.com/

Today I'm sharing the Gospel at Shabach Sanctuary in Dallas where the
Pastor is Dr. N. P. Parks. Since 2009 God has been dealing with me
and the body of Christ at large-those with "hearing ears" to get return to
the basics of getting in the word and committing ourselves to
prayer.

If we aren't careful things crowd out growing in an intimate relationship
with the Lord but we have to push past  THINGS to get positioned
for the fulfillment of God's purpose. Is pushing easy? Definately not!
This passage in Luke tells a simple story of a young man whose form of
godliness stood in the path of a true inheritance to the kingdom of God. God
is speaking that we don't allow that to be us. What thing is standing tall in your life today?

The cost of change!

My husband and I save our change and then cash it in and put it in
savings or some other investment, but how much does this "change"
cost? No, not the coins but the change God wants to do IN us. There is
a price to be paid for change. It is never a cheap lowest price
cost....but always something you' ll feel!

Computer Woooohs

In 45 minutes I've had to reboot my main work application four times.
It's been malfunctioning for a week now and tech support doesn't have
a clue. Sometimes it's like that in life, we know their is a problem
but we aren't able to determine what the problem is.

But we are blessed above measure because Jesus knows all and sees all,
whatever the problem is God knows! Not only does he know but he' s a
problem solver...Oweeee, I just love it!

Jonifer Ford wins March 2010 Challenge

There are tons of photo contest and challenges out there and lots of controversy over the quality of cell phone images but The Ebby's Touch Camera Club is encouraging its participants to use their cell phones to capture images! Yes, Snap! Snap!

We're using what we have just as God encouraged Moses to do when he encountered the Red Sea. Just because you don't have pricey glass(camera) doesn't mean you can't enjoy photography. After all, most of todays cell phones come with a camera. Yes, I know that cell phone images can't be sold for mega bucks but we're not taking them to sell them:) . At least not yet. LOL.

After a little tweeking on http://www.picnik.com/ you can see an image above that still has quality issues (tone, noise, exposure, distortion etc) but the overall message brings a smile to your face and this was her first try at it. Cmon that's worthy of a Snap! Snap!
The Camera Club launched on Sunday, March 14 and we had a blast! This month's winner is Jonifer Ford and this is the winning image. We're looking for images that ooze heart and spirit and the great thing is our March winner had never used cell phone to take and send a picture. Owwee, Gotta love it!

View the gallery at http://.flickr.com/photos/ebbystouch and you can join us on the network at http://ebbystouch.ning.com/ and participate in the camera fun.

This beautiful sky image by LW McKinzie wasn't a part of this month's challenge (ugh, submitted after the deadline) but it enhances nicely and creates a beautiful image that invokes thoughts of God's peace. The beauty of  http://ebbystouch.ning.com/ is that it's open to everyone no matter what type camera they have access to and no matter what age they are, this is a great alternative for youth.
Here's one of the pictures I took for this month, you can see the rest at http://flickr.com/photos/ebbystouch. Bye for now, smile real big as you Snap! Snap!

Me and my Glass

WOW, I've been doodling on one side of the camera or another since I
was fourteen. I remember the days of being in the dark room developing
pictures and also modeling. I like taking pictures far better than
being the subject. There's something about capturing that special
image.... The one that makes you step back like God did and say " it
is good"
Today is the official launching of the Ebby's Touch Camera Club, you
can join the FREE online network at www. ebbystouch.ning.com. It's
open to everyone and is designed to accomodate those using cell
cameras, point and shots, DSLR or whatever method the participant
chooses to use to present an interesting image. I'm excited!

Din with my honey:)

My hubby and I are at Pappadeaux in Dallas in the Oak Lawn area
enjoying each other and good eats before we chillax at home. We were seated but no one came to take our drink order for over 20 minutes, this is rare. This location is one of our favorite spots and we do recommend it. We enjoyed it and YES I did get bread pudding, good stuff. SMILE really big!

MeNhubby

This is me and my hubby, we've known each other for over twenty
three years... Lovin it!

The Black and White of Spiritual Authority

We don't think much about it but we've been given power and authority--
dominion! In manta ways it's a black or white matter, either we
believe that or we don't. Do you believe that God has given you power
and authority. Not just fir you but for those you come in contact with
to speak into their life... Newness.
Spiritual Authority is a foreign concept to many Christians today but
why is it. Gods word hasn't changed and his position as Lord of Lords
hasn't changed so what has changed?
Let us seek to gain wisdom and understanding of who we are in Christ
Jesus and seek to understand the authority that he has delegated and
invested in us. He's waiting!

Yes, it's lunch:)

If you haven't tried Cafe Max in Addison, TX you gotta. It's just
delicious and the portions are enough for three people-seriously.
Having their chicken salad. Seafood salad and cucumber salad ... Good
Stuff. Gotta go, dreYS!

Good Intentions

I was driving in the direction of a healthy salad with low calorie
dressing because I realize this ten pounds is not going to have an
awakening and say to itself " I think I'll leave Nanette alone". I
have to do my part and guess what, today my job is to enjoy these
lemon pepper wings and that's what I'm going to do!
True, I may ask myself what was I thinking later because I don't
normally eat like this but I'm more apt to lose the pounds if I
occasionally enjoy something I like. Bye! Smile Super Big while I
enjoy these wings... Te-He

Me

Well it's been almost a year since I started having issues with
My shoulder. Had surgery I'm October 2009 and cut my hair in December
2009 but my goal is one year no heat , just a dark skinned girl and
her natural hair. It can be challenging for people to accept an
African American queen that God said is fearfully and wonderfully made
wearing her hair but I'm pretty sure it won't be long before they get
over it. It is what it is:)
I'm loving the freedom that comes with being natural, I have been
natural for ten years now...ok bye. Smile Big!

On My Drive Home

Another snap I captured on my drive home tonight. I see so much that
would be amazing shots but....hey the Ebby's Touch Camera Club kicks

Just Another Day

I saw so many things I wanted to photograph while driving to work this
morning but I could't get any of them. I do wish I could stop and
freeze time with my camera but if you're behind the wheel it's not
always possible...oh well, here's a snap I did at some point today:)

Family Room

I spend a lot of time in this living space, its laid back and comfy...take a closer look at the painting. It is acrylic on canvas...my husband painted one block on it.
It is titled Perfectly Imperfect. I love art on so many levels...its relaxing and brings out the God kind of creativity that lies in each of us.

Undecided

Im still deciding if I like the blog design or not and I'm leaning more toward not but I don't have the time to devote to the do-over yet...but stay tuned it's coming sooner than you think.
